Interviews

Thursday during class, we went outside hoping to get interviews. I thought that our group did well in approaching possible interviewees. I was checking the sound quality for the interviews so I did not really persuade anyone to be in our documentary but I can tell how difficult it is to do so. Although the wind was blowing quite strong, the sound quality was perfect. Most of the groups managed to get about four interviews and overall, it was successful.

Could you expand on your own experience? How did it feel going up to strangers? Were you surprised by what they said?

I really like your avatar–did you draw it?

    Mrs. Pomerantz,
I drew that picture to use as my avatar

Cool! I love it. Can you think of any drawings that you might create for our film–that might be a cool way to get images that we can use (if you give permission).

I hadn’t really thought of having students with artistic ability create art particularly for the project–sometimes I’m dense :-)

I have many ideas and I can video record the drawings if we are to use them. I will change my avatar to another drawing that we may be able to use in our documentary as soon as I take a picture of it.

    Good revisions on this entry.

I’m having a difficult time seeing this new avatar because the values are pretty dark on my screen. We might have to photoshop it to lighten it up.

We can also make slide shows with the still images of the pictures–maybe that could go with your intro/conclusion?
